When she and husband Dave launched BCA in 1989, Maggie created the perfect job for herself. Genuinely outgoing yet calm under pressure, she has garnered a reputation as a “people person,” who works best when she is in direct contact with clients, whether they need strategy for a long-term project or a game plan for an immediate crisis.
After 12 years of Catholic school, Maggie graduated from the University of California Davis before working in television in San Francisco, Sacramento, and Salinas/Monterey and then with the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce, where she performed government relations and communications work. As the president and CEO of BCA, more than two decades of experience have made her an expert in public relations, government relations, media development, community organizing and advertising.
When she’s not garnering news coverage for a client or steering them through the confusing channels of government, Maggie can often be found steering through watery channels on a kayak, enjoying a rare moment of solitude.
