Robin Mitchell Hee
Once on a track to attend medical school, Robin’s tendency to faint while working at a hospital trauma unit convinced her to change paths, leading to a varied career in marketing, public relations and real estate. She’s also an avid volunteer, who serves as the president of the Women’s Shelter Program and marketing communications director with Softec, which creates and promotes technology events in the county.
As an account manager for BCA, she helps some of the firm’s largest clients achieve their marketing goals.
Having grown up in La Jolla, Robin earned a political science degree from University of California San Diego. While her trauma center work proved medicine wouldn’t be a good fit, she did wind up in the hospital’s marketing department, eventually leading to stints at Qualcomm in San Diego and Spice Hunter and Trust Automation in San Luis Obispo. A mother of four, she and her husband, a Cal Poly alum and team roper, like to ride horses in their spare time.
